Rainring #22 Relation

Standard

The Relation card talks about our interaction with people. It brings warmth and a welcoming feeling. It think it is about more platonic connections whereby there are shared activities or interests.

If you drew Relation as a one card pull for the day you can expect some involvement with various people from different areas of society.

You could attend a meeting at a school, go to a play or participate in a community event. There are many other examples of the essence of the Relation card.

There is a good chance of a positive team in the workplace. You could even get a visit from a relative.

If you cards the cards if you and someone you met will get involved romantically this card suggests it will stay on a friendship level.

If you are wondering about your divorce the Relation card indicates an amicable settlement.

Even though you do not know the people at the meeting you are still in relation to them – you have the common goal of the intended meeting.

The 9-card Rainring Octagon spread reading

Standard

If you pop over to the Ask my Cards blog you will find a detailed reading using the 9/21 cards we have studied thus far.

I have demonstrated how to read these 9 selected cards in the Octagon spread.  It is a very good layout that covers 8 aspects of the specific question asked with the 9th card as a summary.

Rainring #21 Impression

Standard

I want to share a personal story which reflects the Impression card on some levels.

Not too long ago, I was picking through some spanish onions at the grocery store when I noticed a distinguished man smiling at me. I didn’t think anything of it and figured he smiled at all the women. Who knows why people smile and honestly, you don’t see much of that any more. So, a few seconds passed and I had the feeling he was staring at me. When I looked up our eyes were in a deadlock gaze. OMG, I knew him. I had not seen him for three decades or so.

He approached me. My heart began racing. I felt such intensity.  I don’t freeze on the spot too often but this time my feet were nailed to the floor. I was still holding the spanish onion (chuckling to myself as I write) when he spoke.

He says, “So, how long are you going to hold that spanish onion?” I felt a lump in my throat and at the same time I began to laugh. I said, “Until you make your famous spaghetti sauce.” In my mind a voice was screaming, “What are you doing you crazy woman!”

Long story short we chatted for a bit, had a few laughs and wished each other well until our paths crossed again (per chance). I was happy that I knew in my heart I did not want to go down that road again. Not so sure he knew, lol.
